Maggie Hernandez passionately empowers teachers and students to fulfill their mission, making a positive difference in multiple academic and k-12 school libraries. In recent years she collaborated with teachers at Antonian College Preparatory High School and helped students publish books. She guided students through the journey to publishing their AI-generated books at Amazon KDP; and creating their projects via Book Creator, Canva, and Google Sites, some of which won the Texas Youth Creator Award 2024. As an aspiring author, she gained more insight into the mystery of the published authors by attending the ACFW writer conference; her manuscript intrigued the agent and publisher she presented to. Maggie has been a professional librarian for 34 years with UT Austin MLIS, a Texas Certified School Librarian, a certified educator/coach/ trainer for numerous EdTech apps, a conference speaker, a book club moderator, and a mentor to librarians.
